Reclaiming Asphalt
LeDuc Asphalt Milling now offers the ability to 100% reclaim Recycled Asphalt Product (RAP) with the mobile KMA 220 Wirtgen Mixing Plant and Tesab Crusher. LeDuc is able to stockpile RAP at our yard near Aldersyde / Okotoks and at our Calgary based yard, where it has the ability to reclaim this material by mixing Reclamite ® Preservative Sealer and water to certain specifications, allowing end-users to purchase and reuse this reclaimed product for suitable projects. A complete reuse of the reclaimed asphalt material guarantees maximum economic efficiency.

Applications
The KMA 220 Mixing Plant produces cold mixes that are suitable for a broad range of construction applications, such as primary and secondary roads, high-quality base layers in road and path construction, parking lots, acreages, and storage areas. The binding agent is mixed homogeneously with RAP to produce pavements that can withstand high stresses. The end product has an impressive resistance to deformation, improved flexibility and long service life. The introduction of this cost effective solution has allowed some end-users to place pavement in areas normally gravelled, and other end-users a healthy financial incentive with the savings achieved.
